Company: ScanScout is a leading Boston-based online video advertising network that is funded by a tier-1 venture firm General Catalyst, Time Warner and prominent angel investors who backed Google, PayPal, AskJeeves, etc. The company is solving some very fundamental problems in the online rich media space. The company has developed a leading online video advertising solution aimed at the heart of the online video market, one of the highest-growth market segments of the Internet today. ScanScout is founded by MIT alumni and its senior team is composed of experienced technology, advertising and media veterans from MSN, eBay, Ad.com (AOL), etc., who have a track record of success as well as substantial operating experience.

• Work closely with VP to develop and implement a recruitment strategy for the addition of in-stream video publishers to the ScanScout network.
• Develop new publisher leads within key publishers
• Build relationships within strategic publisher base
• Report daily/weekly on activity status and next steps related to specific opportunities that helps build publisher forecast which will be shared with sales team.
• Work with ScanScout Client Services and Sales Engineering team to ensure smooth integrations and proper management of relationships
• Grow knowledge of industry and competition
• Gain visibility through industry events and professionally represent ScanScout to customer baseQualifications
• At least 5 years of successful online publisher management experience.
• Proven ability to spot opportunities, set priorities, and execute correct strategies to convert opportunities into new business
• The ideal candidate will have existing relationships with online video publishers.
• Management experience is a plus.
• Required skills include fluency with media-buying terminology/planning
• Familiarity with online ad-serving platforms
• An understanding of the online video ad industry
• A strong history of meeting and exceeding sales goals
• A strong presenter and communicator.
• This person should also be proficient with Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Highly motivated, autonomous and intelligent
• Ability to work alone as well as part of a team
• Ability to work in fast paced start up environment
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
