VP of Engineering Position (Boston)

A non-publicized search for a VP of Engineering. The position is located in downtown Boston. The company is a young, innovative organization that is looking for someone that has a history of success in a start-up and/or mid-sized successfully run company. The incumbent will ideally be someone that is looking for the next step in their career, specifically a Director who is ready to make that jump to a VP. The person will have heavy technical chops, but also have a strong business acumen. All candidates must have a positive, can-do attitude and be willing to nurture a collaborative culture.

Particular attention will be given to candidates with the following backgrounds--software analytics, grid technologies and/or online video. Experience in a product development environment is critical.
